Be the Difference in a Child’s Life
Support children with complex needs in their own homes and be part of something truly special.
At Ocean Healthcare, our Care Assistants do something extraordinary. They bring skilled, compassionate care into the heart of a child’s home. They work one-to-one with children who have complex needs. That might mean supporting with tracheostomies, PEG feeding, epilepsy, autism or other complex conditions - but just as important is understanding the emotional and practical needs of the family around them.
You’ll often be working alongside parents who know their child’s needs inside out. You will become part of their support system, and bring a sense of calm and trust into the home.
“You’re not just supporting the child - you’re helping a whole family breathe a little easier.”
No two families are the same. No two days are the same.
We’re looking for people who can build real connections, adapt with confidence and bring professional care with warmth, respect and a personal touch.
Families caring for a child with complex needs face challenges most of us will never fully understand. The pressure can be enormous - physically, emotionally, financially. The smallest things can make the biggest difference.
That’s where you come in.
By showing up with skill, empathy and consistency you’ll help children feel safe and supported and give families the space to do the everyday things that matter to them.
You’re not just doing a job. You're making it possible for family life to carry on, in a way that works for them.
We’re not an agency that sends you out and forgets about you. We’re a nurse-led provider of complex care services. You’ll be supported, trained and valued - every step of the way.
If this sounds like you - we’d love to talk.
