Managing Director
Paul oversees all operations at Ocean Healthcare. He has a vast amount of experience within the healthcare industry. Paul helps plan the future growth of Ocean Healthcare whilst also maintaining the high-quality service we provide across the business.
Director of Operations
Joanna joined Ocean Healthcare in 2016 as a Customer Care Manager. Growing with the business, she is now all about our customers. Jo is responsible for looking after existing customers, as well as developing new relationships. Jo ensures that our service and the staff we provide are always the best quality.
Director of Care
Cathy has been with Ocean Healthcare for many years and in the last few has led the way for us branching into providing Complex Care services. Cathy overseas all care-related operations within the Complex Care sector of the business. With decades of experience in care working as a nurse.
Founder & Chairman
Ken started Ocean Healthcare in 2013. He is responsible for steering the business. His main priorities are ensuring that Ocean Healthcare stays true to its values, grows sustainably and makes a positive difference to the people we serve and those who work with us.
Financial Controller
Tracy first started working for Ocean Healthcare in 2017 and now has a brilliant team working for her. Tracy is primarily responsible for providing timely and accurate company records. She is also responsible for financial forecasting and budgeting, in addition to controlling cash flow within the business.
Co-Founder & Company Secretary
Jane has been part of Ocean Healthcare and a director from the very beginning. Jane helps ensure that everything in the background is running as smoothly as possible. She is often found using her many skills from HR to finance and more besides.
Head of Operations
James joined us as Head of Operations in 2023. James directly looks after our Recruitment and Bookings teams, as well as looking after our agency customers. As apart of the Sales Team, James is regularly out visiting current and potential clients. James is also involved with future planning of the business and turning strategy into reality.
Area Manager
Lyndsey is the Area Manager for our agency division in North Devon and Somerset. Lyndsey puts planned strategies into action for these areas, as well as overseeing the Bookings and Recruitment team for her area. Lyndsey is part of our Sales Team, and is regularly out visiting current and potential clients.
Happiness Manager
Jade has been with Ocean Healthcare since 2017. First starting as a bookings coordinator, Jade has grown with the business into her role as Happiness Manager. Cool job title right? Jade is responsible for the care and wellbeing of both our members and office staff, as well as keeping all our members up to date with compliance. What other company do you know has a Happiness Manager?
Recruitment Team Leader
Chloe join Ocean Healthcare in 2022 as a recruiter and excelled at the role. She quickly became very efficient in her respective recruitment areas and earned her promotion to Recruitment Team Leader. Chloe now oversees all the recruiters and their prospective areas. Chloe is very knowledgeable about how joining Ocean Healthcare can benefit carers & nurses and will often be found providing advice to make sure applicants can make the best choices for them.

Levi has been part of the Ocean Healthcare recruitment team since 2023 and hit the ground running. She is a great recruiter and looks after North Devon and surrounding areas. She has a knack for knowing which applicants will benefit from joining Ocean Healthcare and carefully recruits carers and nurses based on their needs.

Sarah started her journey as part of the recruitment team in May 2022 and transitioned to bookings as well by the close of the same year. The shift to a dual role was motivated by a genuine passion for cultivating relationships and thriving in a fast-paced work environment with clients. Currently Sarah oversees operations in Plymouth, Torbay, and the South Hams. Sarah's primary focus is to connect the perfect team members with the right homes. She has shown great dedication to maintaining strong ties with both clients and members to make sure all parties work harmoniously.
Bookings Supervisor
In 2017 Katie joined the Ocean Healthcare family as a Bookings Coordinator and has since progressed to become our amazing Bookings Supervisor. Katie makes sure our Bookings Team runs smoothly every day. She not only keeps our standards high but also embodies the heart and soul of our company values. It's all about providing the absolute best service, thanks to Katie's magic touch!

Hannah joined the bookings team in 2023. She is your go-to person for all things Teignbridge and Mid Devon. Her role as a bookings co-ordinator is making sure our clients get the shifts they need covered and to keep our working relationships healthy. And guess what? She's also the friendly face looking out for our amazing members in each area!

Charlotte joined Ocean Healthcare in 2023 as a booking co-ordinator for Noth Devon, Somerset & Exeter area, Charlotte brought with her a wealth of experience having worked in the care sector for many years. In the short time working for Ocean Healthcare, she has gained great relationships with our clients and members by putting them at the heart of everything she does.
Head of Operations
Esa joined Ocean Healthcare in 2024 as Head of Operations for Complex Care bringing with her over 24 years experience in the sector. Esa directly looks after our Complex Care Recruitment and Bookings teams, as well as looking after our customers. Esa is involved with the future planning of the business and turning strategy into reality.
Workforce & Business Development Manager
Sam ensures that we continually attract and retain high quality healthcare workers, in order for us to provide our excellent Complex Care service. Sam oversees the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for Complex Care, making sure our workforce are much more than just compliant.
Office Manager
Frankie is our Complex Care office manager and provides essential support to the management team. She ensures that meetings, schedules, and communications are well-run. Frankie ensures that our systems and processes run efficiently and smoothly for Complex Care service.
Nurse
Mandy has an extensive nursing background and is a specialist in adult nursing. Mandy oversees our adult packages in Complex Care. This involves regular visits to our service users, bespoke training with our carers, in addition to the signoffs and risk assessments involved with our packages.
Senior Mental Health Nurse
Natalie has over 12 years of experience within Mental Health Nursing. She has previously worked with both adults and children across many different settings. Natalie’s passion is working with individuals who find it difficult to express their emotions and needs. She is dedicated to ensuring that care is provided in the least restrictive way, enhancing choice and promoting independence. Natalie's primary duty is to support the mental health requirements of the individuals we look after. She also supports our strategic goal of achieving expansion within the mental health field of Complex Care.
Nurse
Megan is a registered nurse with a background in cancer services at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. She specialises in palliative care and has worked with the Rowcroft Hospice at Home team. Megan oversees packages in Complex Care. This involves regular visits to our service users, bespoke training with our carers, in addition to the signoffs and risk assessments involved with our packages.
Management Accounts Supervisor
Karen is our guardian of the coin. Initially starting with Ocean in 2019 to provide support to Tracy, Karen is now our Accounts Supervisor. Primarily Karen provides and manages all accounting information for the Complex Care division. She has forged strong relationships within the company and with our clients.
Payroll Administrator
Angie is responsible for accurately processing and managing payroll for our members, ensuring timely and accurate payments are made. She is great at what she does and is very helpful if you have any questions.
People Manager
Charis leads all aspects of the People Strategy and provides expert support, guidance and leadership on all matters relating to HR across the business. Charis works closely with the Senior Leadership Team to put strategies and policies in place.
People Adminstrator
Gareth supports our strategic aims by maintaining accurate, organised and compliant personnel records across a variety of core activities, including onboarding, engagement, attendance and training.
