Managing Director
Paul oversees all operations at Ocean Healthcare. He has a vast amount of experience within the healthcare industry. Paul helps plan the future growth of Ocean Healthcare whilst also maintaining the high-quality service we provide across the business.
Joanna King
Director of Operations
Joanna joined Ocean Healthcare in 2016 as a Customer Care Manager. Growing with the business, she is now all about our customers. Jo is responsible for looking after existing customers, as well as developing new relationships. Jo ensures that our service and the staff we provide are always the best quality.
Cathy Ellingford
Director of Care
Cathy has been with Ocean Healthcare for many years and in the last few has led the way for us branching into providing Complex Care services. Cathy overseas all care-related operations within the Complex Care sector of the business. With decades of experience in care working as a nurse.
Ken Rudge
Founder & Chairman
Ken started Ocean Healthcare in 2013. He is responsible for steering the business. His main priorities are ensuring that Ocean Healthcare stays true to its values, grows sustainably and makes a positive difference to the people we serve and those who work with us.
Tracy Luscombe
Financial Controller
Tracy first started working for Ocean Healthcare in 2017 and now has a brilliant team working for her. Tracy is primarily responsible for providing timely and accurate company records. She is also responsible for financial forecasting and budgeting, in addition to controlling cash flow within the business.
Jane Rudge
Co-Founder & Company Secretary
Jane has been part of Ocean Healthcare and a director from the very beginning. Jane helps ensure that everything in the background is running as smoothly as possible. She is often found using her many skills from HR to finance and more besides.
James Beety
Director of Operations
James joined us as Head of Operations in 2023 and was promoted to Director of Operations in 2024. In his role, James oversees our Recruitment and Bookings teams, while also maintaining strong relationships with our agency customers. As part of the Sales Team, James frequently visits current and potential clients. He is deeply involved in the future planning of the business, ensuring that our strategies are effectively turned into reality.
Esa Reeman
Director of Operations
Esa joined Ocean Healthcare in 2024 as Head of Operations for Complex Care and was promoted to Director of Operations later that same year. With over 24 years of experience in the sector, Esa brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She oversees our Complex Care Recruitment and Bookings teams, ensuring exceptional service for our customers. In addition, Esa plays a key role in the future planning of the business, transforming strategy into reality.
Lyndsey Richings
Area Manager
Lyndsey is the Area Manager for our agency division in North Devon and Somerset. Lyndsey puts planned strategies into action for these areas, as well as overseeing the Bookings and Recruitment team for her area. Lyndsey is part of our Sales Team, and is regularly out visiting current and potential clients.
Jade Speake
Happiness Manager
Jade has been with Ocean Healthcare since 2017. First starting as a bookings coordinator, Jade has grown with the business into her role as Happiness Manager. Cool job title right? Jade is responsible for the care and wellbeing of both our members and office staff, as well as keeping all our members up to date with compliance.
