We’re looking for Support Workers to join our Agency team, supporting young people with visual impairments and complex needs in a conveniently located Exeter service. Flexible daytime shifts available.

Ocean Healthcare is looking for Support Workers to support children and young people with visual impairments and complex needs in Exeter. This is a flexible agency role, giving you control over when you work while remaining part of a professional, highly regarded care organisation.

You’ll be supporting young people with visual impairments, many of whom also have learning difficulties, in an educational and residential setting. Your role will include helping them thrive and achieve their best day every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Offering compassionate care and support tailored to individual needs.
Helping service users engage in educational and leisure activities.
Building strong, positive relationships with young people and their families.

07:30-15:00
15:30-22:00
Shifts available 7 days a week!
Days (Mon-Fri) = £13.68 p/hr
Days (Sat-Sun) = £15.00 p/hr
Days (Bank Holidays) = £19.00 p/hr
Compassionate and Patient: A calm, caring approach and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Experience: At least 1 year of care experience (preferred).
Commitment to Excellence: Willingness to complete additional training to enhance your care skills.
References: Able to provide verifiable references for the last 5 years of employment.
Work History and Background Checks: We’ll ask for a full employment history and carry out appropriate background checks as part of our recruitment process.
