Live-in Care Assistants required to support people with complex needs in Devon.
Ocean Healthcare is seeking an experienced Care Assistant to provide live-in support for individuals with complex needs in their own homes. Due to personal care and dignity requirements, this role is open to female applicants only.
You will deliver high-quality, person-centred support in line with individual care plans. This includes assisting with daily living activities, supporting mobility, and helping to maintain comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
The role involves working collaboratively with families and other professionals, ensuring consistent and responsive care. You will also support individuals to engage in meaningful activities and routines, promoting independence, choice, and quality of life.
Shift Details:
1 week on - 1 week off
2 hour break each day
Note: We recognise that 1 week on/1 week off doesn't suit everyone, there is flexibility around the shift patterns so please contact us if you're interested to discuss your availability.
Pay Rates:
£1,000.00 per week

Key Responsibilities
Provide live-in support, including sleep-in duties
Deliver person-centred care and support plans
Support mobility, transfers, and daily routines
Assist with medication and health-related needs
Encourage communication and meaningful activities
Provide personal care with dignity and respect
What We’re Looking For
Confident, engaging and personable, with a positive and bubbly approach
Previous experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities is desirable but not necessary.
The ideal candidate will be confident, resilient and personable, with a positive and professional approach. You’ll have strong communication skills and be comfortable working within a family home environment.
You’ll be an experienced Care Assistant, confident supporting individuals with a range of needs, including elderly care and individuals with learning disabilities. You should be competent with moving and handling and able to work effectively as part of a care team.
Experience supporting individuals with complex or specialist needs is desirable, but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
