Join Ocean Healthcare’s Complex Care Team in and around Teignbridge and Torbay – Specialist Training Provided

Ocean Healthcare is recruiting experienced Care Assistants to support adults across Teignbridge and Torbay. We have day and night shifts throughout the week, with full-time and part-time contracts available.

Who do we support?

In this role, you’ll mainly be supporting adults with complex health needs, including those living with tracheostomies and conditions such as MND. Care is typically provided on a 1:1 basis, with some 2:1 packages of care. Complex Care can include things like tracheostomy and ventilator support, medication management, enteral feeding, epilepsy care, catheter or bowel/stoma care and safe moving & handling.

We’ll talk you through the specific needs of the people you may be supporting when we speak with you.

You’ll be fully prepared for your role through face-to-face training delivered by our nurse-led team and expert Trainers. We tailor your training to the specific needs of the service users you’ll be supporting. This will give you the confidence and skills needed to make a real difference.

Pay Rates & Shifts:

Shifts mostly vary between 4 and 12 hours. DAY and NIGHT shifts available. We'll work with you to match you and your availability to the individuals receiving care.

Pay Rates range from £13.00-£18.55 per hour. Rates vary by shift type (day/night/weekend) and by package complexity.

What You’ll Need:

  • At least 1 year of UK experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker.

  • Two UK work references (at least one must be care-related).

  • Reliability and Good Communication

  • Right to work in the UK (We do not offer Work Visa)
