Care Assistant

Ocean Healthcare is looking for a female Care Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a young woman living with a neurological disorder. She has full mental capacity but requires support in all aspects of daily life. She uses a wheelchair and hoist for mobility and has a catheter. She needs assistance with personal care, medication management and daily routines. Household tasks, shopping and meal preparation also form part of the role.

She lives in her own home and enjoys an active and independent lifestyle. She likes social outings and events. She also attends appointments such as hydrotherapy.

Family is important to her and she loves spending time with her dogs.

Shift Details:

• 19:00-08:00 Monday to Sunday

Pay Rates:

• £13.80 p/hr Monday-Thursday

• £14.05 p/hr Friday

• £16.05 p/hr Saturday-Sunday

• £19.05 p/hr Bank Holidays

Note: if you incur toll fees travelling to this location these can be covered as expenses.

The ideal candidate would be confident, resilient and personable. You'll be an experienced Care Assistant competent with manual handling. It is essential that you are a driver.

What You'll Need

• Good References (covering at least 3 years)

• You must be a car driver

• Reliability and good communication

• Right to to work in the UK (We do not offer Work Visa)
