Ocean Healthcare provide high quality, nurse-led care for people of all ages with complex needs. We are particularly proud of our work supporting people with brain and spinal injury and so are delighted to have recently been appointed as a regional trusted partner for the Spinal Injuries Association. Most care is delivered at home. We work directly with private clients, but are also commissioned by county councils, case managers, financial deputies, solicitors and NHS commissioners.

Our nurse-led care complex care services cover a wide spectrum of conditions. Our aim is to help our service users and their families enjoy the best quality of life possible at home. Most of the people we support have either suffered some kind of trauma (at birth or an accident), have a genetic, degenerative disorder or learning disability. Common conditions we work with include:

All for a single flat hourly rate starting at £25 per hour, our service fully manages the following stages of healthcare provision:

Carer recruitment, screening and DBS checking

Carer training, sign-off, competency monitoring, ongoing skills development and supervisions

All aspect of Carer HR including payroll, pension provision, holiday, sickness and rota management and coordination

Bespoke writing of clinical care plans overseen by our team of specialist nurses; including spinal and brain injury, mental health, learning disabilities and paediatric disciplines

Regular auditing and monitoring of care and risk assessments

Liasing with multi-disciplinary teams to represent service users and their families

Providing regular reports and updates on service provision
All this is done through a dedicated Care Team Manager who supports every service user with the day to day running of their care package.
