Care Support Worker (Complex Care)

Ocean Healthcare are looking for a vibrant and confident Care Support Worker with experience working with mental health needs. Our service user is an older teenager who requires intervention support with her nutrition. This is a challenging time for this young person. We are seeking an individual who is confident, resilient, supportive and has experience of working with individuals when distressed. 

Physical intervention training will be required to support this young person. This is paid for.

Shift Details: 3pm-8pm (Shifts Available 7 Days a Week)

Two years working in care and experience with Mental Health is a requirement for this role.

It is not essential that you have specific experience with nutrition support or physical intervention. You will receive outstanding training from our team of specialists and Nurses. You do need to have mental health experience and be comfortable working in challenging situations.

Pay Rates:

• £15.00 p/hr Mon-Fri

• £17.05 p/hr Sat-Sun

• £20.05 p/hr Bank Holidays

For consistency a minimum availability of 2-3 shifts a week is needed for this package of care. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

Mileage paid after your first 7 miles to this location in Exeter up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.
