Care Assistant

Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced female Care Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a woman in her 30s at her home in Saltash. She lives with Functional Neurological Disorder, a condition that affects how the brain communicates with the body, as well as POTS, chronic pain, thunderclap headaches, and a catheter. She uses a wheelchair and hoist for mobility.

She values her independence and enjoys an active social life, often spending time exploring and going out. Family is very important to her and while her two dogs do not live with her, they remain an important part of her life.

Shift Details:

• 19:00-08:00 Monday to Sunday

Pay Rates:

• £13.80 p/hr Monday-Thursday

• £14.05 p/hr Friday

• £16.05 p/hr Saturday-Sunday

• £19.05 p/hr Bank Holidays

The ideal candidate would be confident, resilient and personable. You'll be an experienced Care Assistant competent with manual handling. It is essential that you are a driver.

What You'll Need

• Good References (covering at least 3 years)

• You must be a car driver

• Reliability and good communication

• Right to to work in the UK (We do not offer Work Visa)

While there are lots of work opportunities within Ocean Healthcare, the terms detailed in this job advert are specific ONLY to this package of care. Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.
