Care Assistant

Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced female Care Assistant to support a 74 year old gentleman in his own home in Taunton. This wonderful man is bright and alert and restricted only by his mobility and need for personal care. He requires careful moving and handling by experienced care workers (2:1). He also requires bladder washout through his catheter.

Excellent training and support provide by our fabulous team of trainers and nurses.

He lives at home with his wife. He is very family oriented and needs support to be at home and enjoy his best life following some rotten luck with his health.

You will be working 1:1

Shift Details:

09:00-13:00 and 17:00-21:00 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Ideally you'd be available to do 2 or more shifts per week. We have other opportunities in the Taunton area. If you'd like to explore those in conjunction with this please let us know.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced carer including personal care and moving and handling.

Pay Rates: £13.50 p/hr Mon-Fri

Note: Paid Weekly

For consistency a minimum availability of 2 shifts a week is required. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

Mileage paid after your first 7 miles to this location in Taunton up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.
