We are recruiting for a prestigious Care Home based in Exeter, they are looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager.

  • Hours: 40 hours per week (Flexible with shift ideally 11am to 11pm)

  • Rate: £13.54 per hour


- Competitive pay: £30,000-£35,000 annually.

- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily facility operations.

- Supervise and lead caregivers and support staff.

- Develop and implement tailored care plans for residents.

- Administer medications and assist with medical procedures.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards.

- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and families for resident well-being.

- Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.

- Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.


- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team.

- Experience in senior care, including dementia care, nursing home, or assisted living settings.

- Proficiency in medication administration and medical procedures.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to develop and implement individualized care plans.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
