Ocean Healthcare are growing fast in and around Bude. We’re looking for Support Workers to join our Bank Team and help young children (male and female) live full, fun and meaningful lives. We’re building a team of brilliant Support Workers who can provide a safe, supportive environment for these children at home and in the community. You’ll be helping with routines, enabling access to the community and offering respite to families.

What types of care are involved?

Led by our specialist nurse team, you’ll be supporting with everyday routines and life skills, helping to promote independence, adaptability and confidence. You’ll also be delivering respite care for parents and carers.

Who do we support?

In this role you'll be working with children with a range of needs, providing both 1-1 and 2-1 support.

Ocean Healthcare also has a nursing agency division. You can register to pick up agency shifts in local care establishments including care homes and supported living locations as well if you'd like to.

Pay Rates & Shifts:

Shifts mostly vary between 4 and 12 hours. We rarely do anything less than 4 hours.

Pay Rates range from £13.00-£18.55 per hour. Rates vary by shift type (day/night/weekend) and by complexity.

What You’ll Need:

• At least 1 year of UK experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker.

• Two UK work references (at least one must be care-related).

• Reliability and Good Communication

• You must be a car driver

• Right to work in the UK (We do not offer Work Visa)
